Beijing 2008 Adidas Ads– “Impossible is Nothing”
April 10, 2008Say what you will about the Olympics this year– Adidas has some kick-ass ads that embody the true spirit of the event: togetherness. Illustrators Luming and Lance Ma drew the backgrounds by hand and added the athletes in later… amazing:
Eek, yipes! I guess the message is “each athlete is supported by millions of fans and supporters and the whole country and stuff”, but these images pretty much give me nightmares. Overpopulation, Stand on Zanzibar, Soylent Green sorts of nightmares. Y’know?
Not that the artwork isn’t amazing…
